Emily Bennett is a professionally trained artist turned event designer, planner, and coordinator. She originally moved to California to pursue her career as a Scenic Artist, painting theatrical scenery, theme parks, and interior murals. Through coordinating weddings for friends and family, Emily discovered a passion for event planning and began working for one of the top independent wedding planners in Orange County, California. She also worked as a venue coordinator and gained invaluable experience at one of Southern California’s largest event rental companies.

After several years learning from industry leaders, Emily launched her own planning company in January 2015. Since then, she has planned and coordinated hundreds of weddings across California, Montana, Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, the Bahamas, and beyond. With more than a decade of professional experience, Emily is known for her thoughtful approach, calm presence, and dedication to creating events that feel personal and meaningful.

After more than 12 years in Southern California, Emily recently relocated to the Midwest to be closer to family and her roots in the region. Now based in Kansas City, she continues to serve couples in California, the Midwest, and destination locations around the world. When she’s not planning celebrations, Emily enjoys spending time with her two teenage bonus daughters and exploring all the creativity and culture Kansas City has to offer. She brings creativity, organization, and genuine care to every celebration and loves helping clients bring their vision to life wherever their story takes them.
